This is the author’s best book yet. A gripping story

Every Gift A Curse
by Caroline O’Donoghue

I'm so mad that I finished this! I wish I could read this trilogy for the first time all over again. It immediately sucked me in. Even when I personally couldn't relate to the protagonist, I still felt as if I was in the story being whisked into Kilberg. The relationships between everyone are written so well. I could feel my own breakup within the lines of a characters. Ouch, but worth the read.

The Golden Spoon
by Jessa Maxwell

This book was highly entertaining, particularly if you’re a fan of The Great British Bake-Off (which I am). It’s a quick, light read. The mystery isn’t all that mysterious, but still—-I simply had fun reading this book.

The Last Songbird
by Daniel Weizmann

This “neo-noir” mystery struck me as a muddled mess. At times the writing was good, at times some characters were interesting, at times parts of the plot were absorbing. But then it would just kind of fall apart. Also, considering it involves the death of an iconic singer/songwriter being investigated by a supposedly brilliant though unknown songwritier, the lyrics throughout the book were, for the most part, rather pathetic.

The Perks Of Being A Wallflower Ya Edition
by Stephen Chbosky

This book was very realistic. You could imagine yourself as Charlie, making new friends and trying to figure out what was going on in his mind. He's truly an interesting character. I would have loved to be the ones receiving his letters.
